Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking a Certified CT Technologist to join our imaging team and perform CT examinations under radiologist supervision. You will ensure quality imaging and contribute to RIS/PACS workflows in a top-tier academic medical center.

The role requires NYS Radiography licensure, ARRT (R) and CT/NMTCB CT certification (or eligibility), BLS, and strong data-system proficiency. On-site, daytime hours with occasional weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• New York State Radiology license (Radiography).
• New York State registration in Radiography.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification (or eligibility, within 6 months).
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS and modality-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment under radiologist supervision and department oversight.
• Apply knowledge of RIS, PACS, and data transfer processes.
• Maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging in support of patient care.
• Collaborate with a world-class clinical team to advance imaging excellence.

Skills

Diagnostic imaging experience

CT experience preferred

Education
