Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a part-time CT Technologist for a Weekend Program. The role features 24 hours per week with 2 Saturday/Sunday shifts, 12:00 PM–12:30 AM, and premium pay on top of base pay.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action if diagnostic adequacy is not met.
Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring.
Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and image archive system; ensure charging accuracy.
