Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Crisis Continuum Services on a part-time basis in Pontiac, MI. The NP will assess and treat individuals in behavioral health crisis and support a multidisciplinary team across CSU, CRU, Mobile Crisis, and crisis lines.

The role requires an active Michigan NP license, PMHNP training, and at least 2 years of psychiatric NP experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited university.
• PMHNP program completion preferred; PMHNP-BC certification preferred.
• Active Michigan NP license in good standing (LARA).

Responsibilities

• Performs psychiatric assessments, medication management, and risk assessments within crisis workflows.
• Leads daily huddles and rounds with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve barriers and finalize dispositions.
• Ensures timely documentation in the EHR and HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
• Interfaces with hospitals, EMS, law enforcement, and community providers for warm handoffs.
