Job summary

National Health Care Associates' Kennebunk Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Cook for weekend morning shifts. You will prepare tasty, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs, contributing to residents' comfort and quality of life.

You'll join a compassionate team, follow menus, maintain high sanitation standards, and collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special diets. The position offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Safe knife handling skills.
• Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, large blenders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions for the safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
