Job summary

BEAT THE BOMB Houston is hiring a part-time Cook to craft memorable, high-energy experiences for guests in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare items to recipe, follow safety guidelines, and support both kitchen and front-of-house during slower periods.

Weekend availability is required as we launch our Sixth location in the Fifth Ward. Competitive pay, tips, benefits and growth opportunities are offered as part of a dynamic startup team.

Qualifications

• Part-time role with weekend availability required.
• Serve Safe certification or willingness to become certified.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prep Food per recipe.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Complete appropriate time/temp checklists.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen at beginning and end of shift.
• Prepare food items to spec and according to tickets.
• Wash, sanitize and store all plateware, glasses and kitchen equipment.
• Empty all Kitchen and Bar trash when necessary.
• Assist with FOH duties during down times.
