Job summary

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking Weekend Security Patrol Officers in Boston to join our team. The role is part-time with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and a pay rate of $22.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, and coordinating with local authorities. Security experience and concierge duties are required, with a focus on customer service and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forty hours of training or orientation may be required.
• Pass background and drug screenings as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring multiple premises to detect irregularities or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicions.
• Communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments as needed.
• Conduct foot patrols of interior, exterior, and parking areas.
• Write detailed daily incident reports.
• Maintain proper use and submission of patrol forms.
• Respond to security and safety concerns and take appropriate action.
• Perform unarmed patrols and assist clients as required.

Security Officer Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Patrolling and monitoring multiple premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.


• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.


• Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.


• Conduct foot patrols of the premises; including interior, exterior, and parking garage patrols.


• Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.


• Maintain Proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties.


• Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.


• Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior)


• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.


• Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.


• Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc

Security Officer Requirements

• Security Experience required.


• Customer Service Experience preferred.


• Previous Customer Service experience, or related field/education.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)


• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent


• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background, and drug screenings.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.
