Job summary

Elizabeth Layton Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time Adult Specialist to join the Community Support Services team in Ottawa, KS. This role involves supervising and providing supportive services to adult clients diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility in their work hours and a positive approach to mental health challenges.

Responsibilities include developing structured activities, maintaining a safe environment, and providing necessary transportation. A high school diploma and 40 hours of training are required, along with the ability to relate effectively with consumers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to attend 40 hours of on-site training, if not previously trained.
