Job summary

Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC. is seeking a Coffee Bagger for a weekend shift in Sunbury, PA. You will operate the coffee bagging line, ensure accurate weight, seals, labels, and lot/date codes, and prepare products for warehouse handoff.

You will also perform sanitation, complete production and sanitation records, and uphold GMP/HACCP/SQF standards in a climate-controlled facility. This full-time role requires reliability and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and complete written documentation in English is required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Comfort operating production machinery and working in a food manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, or SQF is preferred.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the full shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Noise, dust, and varying temperatures are to be expected in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Run the bagging line and operate the coffee bagging machine to fill bags to the target weight.
• Feed bags through the band sealer and verify seals are clean and complete.
• Perform routine weight checks and seal integrity checks; correct line drift as needed.
• Verify correct bag, label, lot code, and date code during each production run.
• Load bagging film, labels, and packaging materials; make basic machine adjustments.
• Case pack and stage finished products for the warehouse team.
• Complete daily production and sanitation records accurately.
• Follow GMPs, food defense practices, and safety rules; support SQF audits.

Job description

Job Title: Coffee Bagger

Location: Sunbury, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift:Weekend (Friday-Sunday 10am-10pm)

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Run the bagging line

• Operate the coffee bagging machine to fill bags to the correct target weight
• Feed filled bags through the vertical band sealer and confirm every seal is clean, complete, and free of coffee, oil, or wrinkles
• Perform routine weight checks and seal integrity checks throughout the shift and correct the line when it drifts out of spec
• Verify that the correct bag, label, lot code, and date code are running before and during each production run
• Load bagging film, labels, and packaging materials and make basic machine adjustments as needed
• Case pack, stack, and stage finished product for the warehouse team

Clean and sanitize the equipment

• Complete full end of shift cleaning of the bagging machine, band sealer, hoppers, contact surfaces, and surrounding work area
• Keep the work area organized and audit ready at all times

Complete the paperwork

• Accurately complete daily production and output records
• Accurately complete daily sanitation records confirming what was cleaned, when, and by whom

Follow food safety requirements

• Follow all GMPs, food defense practices, and safety rules
• Support SQF audits and internal inspections by keeping records current and complete

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to read, write, and complete written documentation in English (daily record keeping is a core part of this job, not an occasional task)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Comfort operating production machinery
• Prior experience in food, beverage, or coffee manufacturing
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, or SQF
• Stand and walk for the full shift
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly

• Work in an environment with moving machinery, coffee dust, noise, and varying temperatures
