Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Big Bend, WI is seeking a Weekend CNC Setup Machinist for a Fri–Sun schedule, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with 36 hours paid as 40 and full benefit eligibility.

You will perform independent setups on CNC mills and turning centers, manage tool offsets, monitor wear, inspect parts, and apply GD&T per blueprints.

Requires 2+ years of CNC experience (1+ year of independent setups), US work authorization, and a reliable, long-term work history.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and interpret GD&T concepts.
• Willingness to work a Fri–Sun schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).
• US citizenship or Green Card holder within daily driving distance of Big Bend, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent setups on CNC mills and turning centers for complex components.
• Monitor tool wear, adjust offsets, establish work holding, and maintain tight tolerances.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision gauges and tools.
• Troubleshoot deviations to maintain weekend production workflow.
• Interpret blueprints, apply G&M codes, and follow GD&T requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant machining cell.
