Job description

We are currently looking to fill several CNC Machinist positions for a Tulsa area manufacturing company.

Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 6a-6p (work 36, paid for 40)

Pay: $23-$28 DOE

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recent experience running CNC machinery. We are looking for hardworking, extremely motivated individuals who have amassed extensive CNC knowledge.

CNC Machinist Job Duties:
  1. Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting.
  2. Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible.
  3. Modify machine speed, tooling, and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts.
  4. Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen, and take necessary measures to eliminate errors.
  5. Supervise machine temperatures, ensure that the machine has adequate warm-up and cool-down time between jobs, and replace coolant periodically.
  6. Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs, and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary.
  7. Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation.
  8. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  1. Must have demonstrated recent experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes; 3+ years preferred.
  2. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  3. Must be able to complete setups and edits and run multiple machines simultaneously.
  4. Exceptional math and measurement skills.
  5. Strong safety record while able to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
  6. Creative with excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, stoop, or reach throughout shift.
