Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is hiring for a Lead Control Process Operator at the Steele plant. The role oversees and coordinates a team of Operators, sets up CNC machinery, and ensures product quality per blueprints while maintaining safety on the floor.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency with CNC/PLC equipment, including Whitney plasma/punch and oxy-fuel cutting. Weekend shift familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement verification skills.
• Experience operating CNC/PLC equipment, including Whitney plasma/punch, Kinetic, oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, CNC machining centers (drills, presses, mills).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Operators.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery (cutting, forming, drilling, milling, etc.).
• Monitor production quality and verify dimensional requirements using blueprints.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine adjustments.
• Make decisions related to tolerances, quality, and workflow sequencing.
• Ensure adherence to all safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in or support safety initiatives and committees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
