Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our weekend team in Mandan, ND. The role provides resident-centered care during the 6:00am–2:15pm shift, under the supervision of an RN.

You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care needs, while promoting comfort and safety. This not-for-profit facility emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care within a faith-based, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education and competency testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility, and vital signs.
• Support meals and dining, as well as hydration and activity participation.
• Document interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
