Job summary

Bel-Air Manor in Newington, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time 7am-3pm weekend shift. Join our resident-centered care team delivering support with ADLs, meals, mobility, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Connecticut CNA certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Compassionate, resident-centered attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, turn, move and assist residents as needed.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility: transferring, repositioning, ambulation, use of mobility aids.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor changes in condition.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding; record intake/output as required.
• Maintain clean, safe rooms and common areas; support infection control.
