Job summary
Brighton Hospice is seeking a Weekend CNA/HHA to provide compassionate resident care on Saturdays and Sundays under the Director of CNA Services. This PRN role supports end-of-life patients and collaborates with a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality, respectful care.
applicants must hold current CNA and HHA certifications for the states served and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations.
- Ability to work well within a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
- Eager to gain higher level opportunities such as certifications and further education.
- Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team.
- Able to work independently and day-to-day.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
- CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
- HHA certification in the state(s) of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care per assessments and care plans.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure appropriate care.
- Visit end-of-life patients on weekends and provide support.
- Deliver supplies and perform triage visits as needed.
