Job summary
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties in Everett is hiring immediately for weekend caregivers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You must be a licensed and insured driver.
We welcome Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. As part of our home-care services, you will provide companionship, assist with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, and support clients to maintain
Qualifications
- Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of enrollment in training program
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check; read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
- U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
- Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality; compassionate bedside manner
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
- Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation
- Prepare for clients
- Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
