Job summary
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties is hiring compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to support seniors in Everett. Shifts include Saturdays/Sundays 9am-3pm, with other shifts available.
Join our team to provide companionship, mobility assistance, and daily living support in clients' homes. We offer competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, flexible hours, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO, sick leave, and free CE training.
Qualifications
- Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of completion/current enrollment in training
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks)
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
- Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
- Prepare for clients and organize daily activities
- Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
