Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties is hiring compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to support seniors in Everett. Shifts include Saturdays/Sundays 9am-3pm, with other shifts available.

Join our team to provide companionship, mobility assistance, and daily living support in clients' homes. We offer competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, flexible hours, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO, sick leave, and free CE training.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of completion/current enrollment in training
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
• Prepare for clients and organize daily activities
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

Caregiver Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
