Qualifikationen

• Current CNA certification in NY state.
• At least 6 months CNA experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and intake data.
• Turn and position residents; observe changes as needed.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plan development.
• Provide adequate hydration and assist with meals.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport to dining room.
• Keep accurate food intake records.
• Monitor environment: ventilation, temperature, light, noise.
• Take vital signs (TPR, BP) as directed.
• Respond quickly to call lights and assist resident needs.
• Assist with orientation and training of other staff.
