Job summary

Mirador in Corpus Christi, part of Methodist Retirement Communities, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for weekend doubles to administer medications and treatments in a safe and efficient manner. The role supports independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing residents with compassionate care.

Ideal candidates will hold a Texas Certified Medication Aide certification, be an active CNA, and have at least one year of related experience in hospital or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
• Completion of an accredited state-approved vocational/certification program in Medication Administration is required.
• Possession of a valid Texas Certified Medication Aide certification.
• Must also be an active Certified Nursing Assistant.
• One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long-term care nursing assistant.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide quality resident care in a continuing care retirement community setting.
• Support weekend doubles as part of the care team.
