Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN/OnCall Weekend Counselor to provide individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention and psychoeducation within our advanced recovery system family.

The role requires Master's or Ph.D. in counseling-related field and LPC/LCSW/LMFT licensure with at least 3 years of social work or related experience, plus experience with addictions and various therapy modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology or other counseling-related field required.
• LPC, LCSW or LMFT licensure or intern status required.
• Three (3) years' experience in social work or related field.
• Experience with addictions and/or mental health.
• Knowledge of DBT, CBT, Family Systems approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy and crisis intervention services.
• Oversees residential facilities.
• Provides clinical consultation for clients and families.
• Produces psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with clinical team for comprehensive client care.
