Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention services, psychoeducation presentations and experiential learning groups for clients and their families.

This PRN/On-Call weekend position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family, offering collaboration with clinical teams and a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Licensed or eligible LPC/LCSW/LMFT in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work or related field.
• Experience with addictions and/or mental health care.
• Experience using DBT, CBT, Family Systems approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention and psychoeducation.
• Lead primary process groups and experiential learning sessions.
• Provide clinical supervision or oversight as needed.
• Coordinate with case managers and family therapists for comprehensive client care.
• Prepare treatment plans and clinical discharge summaries.
