Job summary

Distinctive Living is hiring a CHHA/CNA Weekend Warrior for Mira Vie at Brookfield in Belvidere, NJ. The role runs every weekend from 3 pm to 11 pm, providing direct resident care and executing the plan of care under supervision. Training will be provided to ensure confidence in duties and compliance with state regulations.

The position emphasizes teamwork, quality care, and resident advocacy within a supportive culture that values growth and safety for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Six months of caregiving experience or similar function.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Receives and gives report to management on resident status at shift start/end.
• Provides personal care to residents per their plan of care.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding care as assigned.
• Prepares residents for meals and assists to dining room; helps with meal setup and eating.
• Assists with toilet and incontinence care.
• Maintains residents' apartments neat and clean.
• Performs clinical procedures per facility standards and scope of practice.
