Job summary

Apploi in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the scope of practice in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and state guidelines.

The role emphasizes accurate charting, incident reporting, and adherence to procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction, while documenting patient condition changes and participating in physician rounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established charting and incident reporting procedures.
• Handles narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction per policy.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, and weight changes.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs.
• Notes room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges and informs relevant departments.
• Rounds with physicians when necessary.

Come grab your stethoscopes and prepare to care! The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
