Normandy Nursing Center is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team. You will provide direct resident care, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support, while ensuring comfort and safety in a senior living setting.

We value teamwork, effective communication with residents and families, and adherence to all state CNA requirements. The role offers weekend shifts with competitive pay and a supportive work environment under a large enterprise network.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued CNA exam.
• Must hold valid Missouri CNA certification.
• Six months in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and ROM exercises.
• Provide personal care and comfort to residents.
• Assist mobility and transfers as needed.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Support communication within the nursing team and with residents' families.

• Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Afternoons 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Nights 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates

Essential Functions of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
