The role involves planning, assisting, and overseeing resident activities to promote physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Candidates should have an Associate's Degree in a relevant field and experience working with older adults. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required. Qualifications

• Preferred Associate's Degree in social work, recreation, sociology, psychology or a related field.
• 1-3 years experience in assisted living or long term care with memory care patients preferred.
• Preference for skills in encouraging and motivating older adults.
• Ability to encourage and motivate older adults.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated creative ability.
• Strong skills in organization, delegation and consensus building.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
• Conduct programs providing opportunities for residents in community.
• Coordinate community planned functions from setup to breakdown.
• Prepare and organize a calendar of events.
• Work flexible hours for planned activity events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
• Conduct programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for residents in the community.
• Attend all community planned functions and help coordinate the event from beginning to end including setup, running, and breaking down for the event.
• Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (evenings and every other weekend) for planned activity events.
