Job summary
Oakmont of Camarillo, operated by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Weekend Driver to support residents with safe transportation during community outings. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays, 8am-4:30pm, with a pay range of $21.50 to $22.50 per hour and a strong benefits package.
The ideal candidate holds a valid Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement, is 21+, and has a HS diploma. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement.
- Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle transporting people.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must pass background check and health screenings, including TB tests.
Responsibilities
- Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and events.
- Assist with safe loading/unloading of residents and belongings.
- Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
- Demonstrate safe driving and punctual transport of residents.
- Act as a member of activity staff during outings and within the community.
- Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
- Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
