Home Care Assistance – Albuquerque, NM is hiring dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors in their homes. We welcome weekend availability including Saturdays and Sundays, with flexible shifts ranging from 4–12 hours and no overnight or graveyard shifts.

Weekend pay offers $1 extra per hour on top of base rates, with ranges from $17 to $19 per hour depending on experience and credentials.

We are actively looking for caregivers available to work Saturdays, Sundays, or both! Whether you're looking for one weekend shift, a consistent Saturday and Sunday schedule, or additional hours, we would love to talk with you.

WEEKEND PAY

Earn competitive hourly pay based on your experience and credentials, plus an additional $1 per hour for weekend shifts!

• $16/hour – 6+ months of caregiving experience
• $17/hour – Medical Assistant certification or 4+ years of caregiving experience
• $18/hour – CNA
• Additional $1/hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts

Weekend pay ranges from $17–$19/hour depending on experience and credentials.

WEEKEND SCHEDULES AVAILABLE

We are looking for caregivers who can work:

• Saturdays
• Sundays
• Both Saturday and Sunday

Available shifts may include 4–6, 8, or 12-hour daytime shifts, depending on current client needs.

Whether you already work during the week and want extra income or simply prefer working weekends, we have opportunities to explore.

No overnight or graveyard shifts available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caregiver, you will provide personalized, non-medical care to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and providing medication reminders
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
• Supporting clients with dementia and Alzheimer's
• Assisting with errands and transportation when needed
• Following individual client care plans

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, or both
• Valid, unexpired driver's license
• Dependable and compassionate attitude
• Ability to safely perform essential caregiving duties
• Ability to pass a nationwide background check
• Reliable attendance and communication

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance may be required depending on the client assignment.

PAID ORIENTATION & HANDS-ON TRAINING

All new caregivers receive paid orientation and hands‑on training, regardless of previous experience.

Training includes safe transfers, gait belt use, Hoyer lift operation, bathing, personal care, and other essential caregiving skills.

Orientation is generally held Wednesdays from 8 AM–5 PM.
