Job description

Nightingale Senior Care has a Male client in Cerritos who is seeking a caregiver for weekends. Every Saturday and Sunday from 9AM-5PM (ongoing), starting rate is $20 an hour with weekly pay.

• Caregiver with reliable transportation and driver’s license is REQUIRED for this client
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a caregiver
• HCA registration (Home Care Aid)
• Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)
• TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY
• Years of experience
• Legally permitted to work in the US
• Respectful and compassionate
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Patience and empathy
• Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Assist with activities of daily living including meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Build rapport with clients through strong interpersonal skills
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to safety protocols
• Uphold clients' rights, ensuring dignity and respect
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being
