Job summary

Independent Home Health is looking for compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes across the community.

You’ll build relationships, help clients stay safe and independent, and enjoy flexible full-time or part-time opportunities. Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed.

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout the surrounding communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Pay

• $15/hour – Waiver cases
• $16 to $17/hour – VA and Private Pay cases

What You’ll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you’re supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual’s care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
