Interim HealthCare in Ellisville, MO is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to work one-on-one with private home care clients, offering flexible schedules and work-life balance.

You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, help with mobility, reminders for medications, and engage clients in activities, within a supportive, patient-centered home-care environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma, CPR, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and caring for seniors is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

• CPR certification
• Valid MOdriver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
