Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home of Southwest Boston is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Attendants (PCA), or CNAs for weekend daytime shifts in Massachusetts. The role focuses on senior care, including personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and compassionate with seniors.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
Willing to complete background checks (CORI) and driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living including toileting, bathing, and hygiene support.
Provide reminders and redirection for clients with memory loss or dementia.
Offer companionship, conversation, games, reading, and light social activities.
Maintain a clean, safe living environment with light housekeeping tasks.
Prepare meals that meet dietary needs and preferences of seniors.
Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed.
Support medication reminders to help clients manage schedules.
Plan and facilitate engaging activities to promote wellbeing and mobility.
