Job summary

Harmonmemorial is seeking a Resident Associate for a weekend shift to assist older residents with daily living activities and support with dining, mobility, and personal care. You will work to maintain residents' independence and dignity while following the center's philosophy and Oklahoma health regulations.

The role requires a CNA in Oklahoma, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule including emergencies and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurses Aide - State of Oklahoma required.
• Current CPR or BLS required - (can be obtained during orientation).
• Certified Mediation Aide preferred.
• Obtain a current or temporary Food Handler's Permit offered by the Jackson County Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide housekeeping tasks and laundry services.
• Escort residents and coordinate internal transportation needs.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to Resident Services Coordinator.
• Conduct room checks and monitor environmental safety hazards; complete work orders as needed.
• Assist in resident dining: escort to dining room, set up/clear tables, serve meals, buss tables.
• Participate in and support resident centered activity programs.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain professional conduct.
• Use tactful communication in sensitive situations.
• Follow up on complaints and concerns with staff/residents.
• Be flexible to cover emergencies/holidays.
• Follow Oklahoma health regulations.
