Job summary
Choice Personal Care in Monterey, CA is seeking Weekend Caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship to clients in their homes. Flexible weekend shifts and weekend pay differential.
No previous caregiving experience? Training is provided. If you are compassionate, dependable, and 18+, you can make a difference while earning extra income.
Join our Monterey-area team and choose morning, evening, or overnight hours, with shifts from 4–12 hours.
Qualifications
- No previous caregiving experience required; training available.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
- Weekend availability and ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
- Reliable, patient, and respectful toward clients and families.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Prepare meals and provide eating assistance when needed
- Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a comfortable home environment
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship, conversation, and engaging activities
- Assist with recreation and social activities
- Provide transportation to appointments or errands as assigned
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs
- Provide dependable, respectful, and compassionate support to clients and their families
