Job summary

Sevita's ResCare Community Living in Krum, TX is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You’ll assist with personal hygiene, help participants pursue goals, and build meaningful relationships under supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license with 1 year driving history without restrictions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Be part of community participation and support activities.
• Take initiative to ensure participants have a fulfilling day.
