Job summary

Cambridge Caregivers is seeking compassionate Caregivers for weekend shifts in Houston, TX. You will provide direct support, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure the well-being of our clients, including personal care and medication reminders.

Strong communication and empathy are essential. We offer competitive pay at $15.00 per hour, flexible weekend scheduling, paid time off, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Direct care experience in caregiving or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for clients' needs.
• Proficient in medication reminders and adherence to prescribed schedules.
• Ability to provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments.
• Strong understanding of ADLs and ability to assist clients accordingly.
• First aid certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and care to individuals, including personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces.
• Specialize in providing care and appropriate support to individuals with geriatric patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Work with individuals that have various needs, providing support and guidance.
