Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett in Duluth, GA is seeking a compassionate, experienced Caregiver to provide quality care for a client in Duluth. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a total of 14 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of caregiving experience, is reliable, and capable of assisting with daily activities, hygiene, transfers, and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment. Background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience is required.
• Previous home care or senior care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide bed baths and personal hygiene care as needed.
• Provide incontinence care, including changing briefs and keeping the client clean, dry, and comfortable.
• Assist with repositioning and transfers in a safe and gentle manner per care plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including tidying areas used during the shift.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, skin, comfort, mobility, or daily routine.
• Follow the established care plan, safety procedures, and family instructions.
• Communicate any questions or concerns about the client’s care needs to the office.
