Job summary

Almost Family is hiring multiple part-time Week-End Caregiver positions in Klamath Falls, Oregon to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. We seek experienced, compassionate caregivers for personal care and companionship.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, monitoring health, documenting needs, maintaining a safe environment, light housekeeping, and escorting clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more.
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs.
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping.
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities.
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands.

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role pays between $18 - $20 per hour and paid biweekly.
