Job summary

Almost Family - Douglas/Coos County is seeking a part-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals stay independent in their own homes in the Camas Valley, Oregon area. The role pays $18–$20 per hour with biweekly pay and includes benefits such as paid time off, healthcare, and paid training.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of care experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience providing care to seniors or disabled individuals preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, meal prep).
• Monitor clients' health and document needs.
• Create a safe, supportive home environment and adhere to health policies.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.

Job Summary

Almost Family - Douglas/Coos County is looking to hire a part-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and driven Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship services for our clients in the Camas Valley, Oregon area.

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role pays between $18 - $20 per hour and paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, the Caregiver will enjoy a variety of benefits, including

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
