Hiring Companion Caregiver for Weekend Shift

• $15/Hour
• 9 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services.

Qualifications:

• A passion to serve and help others.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience as a Caregiver is a plus.

Position Details:

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and homemaker/companion services to help clients remain in their homes, following an established care plan.

Essential Functions include:

• Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, exercises, use of equipment, toileting, meal prep, feeding.
• Companionship & Household Management: Providing company, respite, and household chores like cleaning, laundry, and bed linen changes.
• Medication Assistance: Reminders for self-administered medications, standby assistance for transfers for fall risk clients.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.

Must be willing to keep clients active, communicate well, and have a driver’s license and vehicle.
