Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving preferred; CNA/HHA certification a plus.
• Able to commit to a consistent full-time schedule.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Background check, drug screening, and health screenings may be required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, accounting for dietary restrictions.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful, personalized activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Provide medication reminders (not administration, unless certified/permitted by state law).
• Monitor and promptly report changes in client condition to the Care Manager.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided at each visit.
• Build consistent, trusted relationships with a regular caseload of clients.
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and safety protocols.
