Visiting Angels Fayetteville NC is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to enrich the lives of clients in Southern Pines and surrounding areas, providing compassionate in-home support per personalized care plans.

You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, and medication reminders while maintaining safety and dignity. Flexible weekend shifts and ongoing training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Good physical endurance for assisting with groceries and client support.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Role

As a Visiting Angels Weekend Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies

• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Weekend Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
