Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR seeks an Echocardiograph Technologist for part-time day shifts (Sat-Sun, 7:30am-6:00pm). A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

The role performs comprehensive transthoracic and invasive echocardiography with a strong emphasis on accuracy and patient care. The candidate must hold required state and national credentials (RCIS/CCCI/ARDMS/RDCS) and BLS.

Qualifications

• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer
• Upon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCCI)
• Upon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCCI)
• Upon hire: RDCS (ARDMS)
• Upon hire: BLS (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Identifies presence/absence of disease via anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Assists physicians with invasive echo procedures including TEE, echo-guided interventions, contrast studies, and stress echo.
