Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is seeking a Lab Technician to support the extraction laboratory, including cannabis extraction, post-processing, and analytical testing, under the Extraction Lab Manager.

You must be 21+, pass a background check, and perform lab tasks with PPE. Responsibilities include operating equipment, documenting tests, maintaining records, and supporting quality control in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a lab setting with PPE.
• Basic math, communication, and data entry skills.
• Preferred experience in lab/pharmaceutical/cannabis production.

Responsibilities

• Operate extraction and post-processing equipment following safety and compliance standards.
• Assist in sampling and documenting analytical tests.
• Maintain detailed records for seed-to-sale tracking.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and equipment maintenance.
• Support lab leadership in quality control and process improvements.
• Participate in state inspections and internal audits as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
