Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, INC. is seeking a Lab Technician at our Athol, MA facility to support cannabis extraction lab operations, post-processing, and analytical testing. You will follow SOPs and health and safety protocols while complying with regulations governing cannabis labs.

The role reports to the Extraction Lab Manager. Pay is $20/hour, with a Tue-Fri, 6:30am–5:00pm schedule. Candidates must be 21+, capable of lab tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, communication, and data entry skills.
• Experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical, or cannabis production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate extraction and post-processing equipment following safety and compliance standards.
• Assist in the preparation, sampling, and documentation of analytical testing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records per seed-to-sale tracking requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and equipment maintenance for lab readiness.
• Support lab leadership in implementing quality control and process improvements.
