Job summary

A leading defense contractor in Huntsville is seeking a Weekend Shift Cable Assembly Technician responsible for building, troubleshooting, and repairing cable assemblies. Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and 2-4 years of relevant experience with specialized tools. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance. Ideal candidates will interpret engineering drawings and work with various teams to resolve assembly issues, catering to both commercial and DoD customers.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
• Working knowledge of specialized tools used during the cable assembly process.
• US Citizenship and eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues.
• Work with design engineers and manufacturing engineers.
