A leading defense contractor in Huntsville is seeking a Weekend Shift Cable Assembly Technician responsible for building, troubleshooting, and repairing cable assemblies. Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and 2-4 years of relevant experience with specialized tools. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance. Ideal candidates will interpret engineering drawings and work with various teams to resolve assembly issues, catering to both commercial and DoD customers.
Qualifications
2-4 years of cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
Working knowledge of specialized tools used during the cable assembly process.
US Citizenship and eligibility for Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues.
