Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology in Columbus, NE is seeking a WWLD Burn-In Tech for the weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 3:30am–4:00pm). You will perform burn-in of resistors, compute layouts and schedules, troubleshoot burn-in problems, and coordinate with supervisors and test personnel to ensure on-time production.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading burn-in racks, monitoring voltages, and maintaining all burn-in reports and records. Minimum High School diploma and 3 months of training required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months to 1 year training in application of complex or automated machinery.
• Training in operation of complex machinery or in practical shop mathematics using specifications, drawings, or plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform burn-in of resistors to customer specifications.
• Compute burn-in layouts and schedules to maximize capacity.
• Construct variances and associated burn-in equipment as needed.
