Job summary

Anheuser-Busch is seeking a Weekend Brewing Maintenance Engineer in Van Nuys, CA, to support equipment reliability in a high-speed brewery environment. This hands-on role focuses on mechanical maintenance, valve and actuator troubleshooting, and process piping systems within a team setting.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with piping systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years of industrial mechanical experience or 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience with process piping, valves, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair valves, actuators, and process equipment to support system reliability.
• Perform mechanical work on process piping systems, including disassembly, repair, and reassembly.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance to drive equipment uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric) across production systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and technical documentation to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Complete work through CMMS systems (SAP or similar) ensuring safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify improvements in equipment performance and maintenance processes.

This role is focused on mechanical maintenance, valve and actuator troubleshooting, and process piping systems.This is a hands-on position responsible for executing maintenance work, diagnosing issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across brewery operations.
