Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle, NC is seeking a licensed mental health professional for a weekend nursing psychiatry role. This full-time position covers 40 hours weekly with Friday–Monday 8am–6pm, delivering patient care and coordinating treatment plans in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, an active associate licensure in the state with progression toward full licensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field.
• Must have associate licensure and/or certification from the appropriate governing board within 6 months of employment.
• Successful completion of CPI and CPR training within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical experience preferred; case management with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness population and/or substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes resources to meet patient care needs by collaborating with guardians and community agencies.
• Assesses patients' problems, needs, and level of functioning.
• Writes treatment plans according to diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation.
• Provides psychotherapy and human development-based interventions.
• Documents patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Presents cases in clinical team meetings and coordinates discharge planning.
