Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Broadview, IL is seeking a Batch Maker / Production Team Member to join our manufacturing floor. The role involves producing batches to specification, adhering to GMP and safety procedures, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Working hours are Fri 3am-5pm and Sat-Sun 3am-4:30pm, with compensation at $19.50 per hour. The position may require forklift experience and occasional equipment cleaning, CIP operations, and basic inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to interact with others professionally.
• Must be able to attend scheduled work.
• Forklift experience optional.

Responsibilities

• Produce batches of product according to specifications and documentation.
• Follow manufactured procedures and quality standards.
• Use equipment such as scales, pumps, valves, and basic maintenance tools.
• Perform CIP, wash and sanitize production areas and equipment.
• Maintain inventory awareness and identify lot/material numbers.
• Cross-train within department and support production as needed.
• Report processing issues and act as backup for team members.
