Job Summary

Safely serve our guests alcoholic beverages in accordance with TABC rules and regulations. Ring up beer sales accurately and handle money, checks, credit cards honestly.

Pay: $15 an hour plus tips

Essential Functions

• Serve alcohol responsibly by checking IDs and monitoring intoxication issues
• Operate the register, safeguard funds, and accurately process transactions
• Stock and organize coolers and back stock for inventory counts
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and perform tasks assigned by the stand manager
• Follow all safe food and beverage practices
• Wear masks and clean areas according to COVID-19 regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies

• Punctuality and adherence to schedule
• Obtain or hold appropriate TABC qualification
• Follow instructions from the stand manager

Work Environment

This is an outdoor venue. While bars are covered, they are not air-conditioned. Summers can be very hot; winters can be very cold.

Physical Demands

Must stand for long hours, walk distances, bend, stoop, lift up to 35 lbs, and reach overhead. Ability to communicate with customers, operate the register and margarita machines, and handle transactions accurately is required.

Required Education/Experience

No experience necessary; training will be provided. Must be at least 18 years old.

Salary

$15.00/hour
